One Equal Light, Maïder Fortuné and Annie MacDonell, 14’50’, 2026
Cosmic revolutions beget earthly revolutions in a densely woven film about the 2024 solar eclipse, ghosts, birth, death and the English poet and preacher John Donne. One Equal Light depicts a time of endings and beginnings, of ghosts and monsters, as old social orders give way and new forms take their place. Night blossoms in the day, producing rupture and awe in quick succession.
